About the corpus
The corpus contains 191 texts: 179 recorded by Werner Arnold in Maalula in 1985 and 12 poems and songs recorded in the 1990s. Audio is available for most materials. The texts are accompanied by German translations.
Annotation and search
- search by word form, lemma, and translation;
- parts of speech, inflectional categories, and verb classes;
- subject, object, and possessive agreement labels;
- metadata and full-text display.
Morphological analysis was produced automatically by S. A. Zemlyanskaya and may be ambiguous. Select a complex label to read its explanation; a question mark identifies an interpretation still requiring expert confirmation.
